Is it cheaper to fly into Denver or Eagle for Vail?
Denver almost always wins on airfare — vastly more flights, more carriers, more competition. Eagle County (EGE) is 35 miles from Vail against Denver's 100, so the ground leg is much shorter, but flights are fewer and typically more expensive, and EGE is more weather-exposed. The usual answer is that Denver is cheaper overall even after the longer transfer. We run the Denver corridor; our sister brand Eagle Mountain Express runs EGE.
