1. Who we are

Vail Mountain Express is a brand of Cameron James Group LLC, a Colorado limited liability company providing private, pre-arranged ground transportation between Denver International Airport (DEN) and the Vail Valley — Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon and Edwards.

We are a private-hire service. We do not operate shared shuttles, scheduled routes, or street-hail service.

2. Booking and confirmation

Reservations are made through vailmountainexpress.com or by text or call to (970) 977-8245.

Payment is collected at the time of booking. Your card is charged when you submit the reservation, and your reservation is confirmed at that moment. You will receive a confirmation by text and email containing your reservation number.

Fares shown in the booking calculator are per vehicle, not per person, and vary by date and vehicle class. The fare you see at the moment you book is the fare you pay. It does not change afterwards for any reason within our control.

3. What the fare includes

The fare covers the private use of the vehicle and driver for the route booked, all tolls, airport access fees, and fuel. Driver gratuity is shown as a separate, visible line on your reservation.

The fare does not include additional stops requested after booking, wait time beyond the allowances in section 5, cleaning charges under section 8, or parking at non-airport locations where a fee is charged.

4. Passengers, luggage and child seats

Each vehicle class has a stated maximum passenger count. A child of any age occupying a seat counts as a passenger. We cannot exceed the stated capacity — it is a legal and safety limit, not a guideline.

Standard luggage allowance is one checked bag and one carry-on per passenger. Ski, snowboard and golf equipment is carried at no charge but must be declared at booking so the correct vehicle is assigned.

Colorado law requires appropriate child restraints. Child seats are available at no charge and must be requested at booking. If a required seat has not been requested, we may be unable to carry that passenger.

5. Pickups and wait time

Airport arrivals. We track your flight with live FAA data and position for the actual landing time. Delays are absorbed at no charge. Complimentary wait time is 60 minutes from actual landing for domestic arrivals and 90 minutes for international arrivals. Beyond that, wait time is billed at the vehicle's hourly rate in 15-minute increments.

Departures and point-to-point pickups. Complimentary wait time is 15 minutes from the confirmed pickup time.

If we cannot reach you and you have not appeared within the applicable window, the reservation is treated as a no-show under our Cancellation Policy.

6. Cancellation, changes and disruption

Governed in full by our Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: free cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup; non-refundable inside 24 hours; flight delays cost you nothing; diverted flights become a credit toward a replacement pickup rather than a refund.

7. Conditions beyond our control

I-70 and Vail Pass close. Storms ground aircraft. CDOT enforces chain law and traction law without notice.

Where a road closure, weather event, act of government, or other condition outside our reasonable control prevents or delays a transfer, we will get you to your destination by the best available means and keep you informed throughout. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from such conditions, including missed flights, missed connections, or missed events.

We will not operate a vehicle into conditions our driver judges unsafe. That judgement is final and is made in your interest.

8. Conduct and vehicle condition

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all vehicles. Alcohol may not be consumed in the vehicle. Colorado law prohibits open containers.

Where a passenger causes soiling or damage requiring cleaning beyond normal detailing or removing a vehicle from service, a cleaning fee of up to $350 may be charged to the card on file. We will notify you before charging it.

We may end a transfer without refund where a passenger's conduct is unsafe, unlawful, or abusive toward the driver.

9. Messaging consent

By providing a mobile number and ticking the consent box at booking, you agree to receive transactional text messages about your reservation — confirmation, driver assignment, vehicle details, and pickup status — from Vail Mountain Express.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by reservation. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Opting out will not cancel your reservation but will stop the pickup and driver-assignment messages that most guests rely on.

We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

10. Insurance and liability

Cameron James Group LLC maintains commercial auto liability insurance meeting or exceeding Colorado requirements for private-hire operators.

Our liability for any claim arising from a transfer is limited to the fare paid for that transfer, except where Colorado law does not permit that limitation. We are not liable for property left in a vehicle, though we will make every reasonable effort to return it.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Eagle County, Colorado.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force for your reservation is the version published on the date you booked.
